coasters

These are some coasters I made this week. I had this old wool shirt that we weren't going to use to make mittens out of so, I decided to make some coasters. These are very rough/rustic coasters, but I like the look I created. I used a vintage fabric I had in my stash to jazz them up a little bit, and I think the colors complement eachother well.

pot holders

I made two matching pot-holders for my friend Chelsea who just built a new house...this is a small house-warming present:)  I used material that had been given to me from someones curtains--the leaf print and the rest I had in my stash. I've never made them before and probably would do the binding a little bit different, but overall I'm happy with the way they turned out!
