warm little piggies
This little piggy went to market....well all the little piggies are warm thanks to the uber cute baby slippers/booties that Nathania is creating! She made some originally for Aria a while back and we decided that they would be a good addition for our craft show....
She's making them a couple of different ways...all wool, some with suede bottoms and in two different sizes! They have elastic in them so they won't fall off and make the piggies freeze...

a good hair day
As I've said before, Nathania and I are going to be at a couple of craft shows...we just got into a juried one...YAY! But let me tell you we were sooooo nervous! We showed our mittens, slippers and some headbands. What do you think? They are on elastic headbands, so really any age--except maybe newborns could wear them. I think they're shnazzy!!! I'm gonna make all different colors, but these are some of the ones I have finished.
Please don't mind my messy hair...I just wanted to show them on a head...and well Andy refused to be my model, so my head it was:)
He was nice enough to take the pictures...he said I looked sad in this one, but it was the best one of this headband!
So what do you think? I would love to get some opinions and possibly some color suggestions!

remedy...
....for cold hands= mittens!!!! As sad as it sounds it is officially fall up here in the great land, the leaves are starting to turn and some have even dropped. There is also a significant chill in the air inherant with fall, and a certain smell. I love the change of seasons...always my favorite times of year and summer to fall is one of my favorites.
We've been working on things we're going to be selling at a craft fair this fall. We've got a lot of work to do and will be showcasing the projects as we finish.
We're making most of the things we're going to sell out of recycled felted sweaters.
Here are some of the mittens I just finished. They are all lined with fleece and are SOOOOO warm.!!!
We are making two different sizes...small and large...and have found that most people are comfortable in the sizes, but we can make bigger or smaller ones:)
We are trying to use up the entire sweater and are also making these balls with the scraps. Nathania's daughter loves playing with these because they are soft and grippable(made up word I know:). We are also going to make smaller ones about the size of a baseball that are easier to grip.
Thats all for now...happy sewing!
