Last week I scored this great table at the local thrift store. It was only $13...which is a steal for up here. Furniture at the thrift shops are usually uber expensive, for low quality...so I snatched this desk/table right up! I think it's original purpose was as a desk, but I thought that it would make a great sewing table...and thus not having to do all my cutting on the floor.
The table was pretty scratched up and was in some need of some TLC...so I started painting...and forgot to take a picture until...this point in my painting.
As you can see it's a basic wood table--actually WOOD, not particle board yeah--but drab and so I picked a wonderful shade of yellow...actually referred to as the color "Cuddle"
This is a closer picture...still not clear as I took it in the garage on a rainy day...but you get the idea.
And this is what I ended up with:
Still blurry as I can't hold the camara still...anyhoo...I used some of the paint that I used on the dresser to liven things up a bit. I'm gonna use both the dresser and table in the same room...they'll match:)
Love the "Cuddle" yellow. I like the Benjamin Moore color "Denim Comfort." Keep posting! Rose
